Message from Principal Calkins
Welcome to Dillon Elementary School. Dillon serves approximately 300 Kindergarten through 2nd grade students. Dillon’s talented staff aims to provide a supportive and challenging learning environment to help our children grow academically, socially and emotionally. At Dillon, our students focus on three expectations: Be Respectful, Responsible and Ready to Learn. Dillon, like all District 13 schools, encourages family involvement throughout the year. We provide many opportunities for families to be an active member of our school community. Dillon also has built strong partnerships with volunteers and outside agencies that help provide services and supports for our students’ and families’ needs. I am a proud product of District 13 having attended K-8 here and feel fortunate to have an opportunity to be a part of preparing our students for success.
