Message from Principal Rude

Dear Friends of Merrill School,

It is a my pleasure to welcome you to the Merrill Elementary School website. We have attempted to provide you with all of the pertinent information you may need whether you are a current Merrill family or a prospective one.

Merrill Elementary School serves students in grades 3-5 within Rock Falls Elementary District #13. Each day we strive to establish and build a rapport with our students that will lead to success in and outside the classroom. Our staff is ready to meet the needs of all students and challenge them to be motivated and stay “On Target” to reach their academic, social, and emotional goals. At Merrill, young minds are challenged to build the foundations to become productive citizens in a changing society. We are able to foster this growth in an environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and safety for all who enter the walls of our school. We believe in building a love for learning that goes beyond our school and exists for a lifetime. It is our pleasure to serve the students and community of Rock Falls.
