About District 13

Rock Falls Elementary School District #13 is a PreSchool through 8th grade district. Our Elementary district is the largest of three elementary school districts that attend Rock Falls High School upon completion of eighth grade. Each year we serve approximately 920 students through our four buildings: Riverdale PreSchool Center, Dillon Elementary (K-2), Merrill Elementary (3-5), and Rock Falls Middle School (6-8). We are large enough to offer various educational programs, but small enough to provide a small-school, personal, nurturing environment.

The strength of our school district is centered around a highly qualified staff, an up-to-date technology-implemented curriculum, and strong community support. We have the ability to serve a diverse population of students and our goal is to enable each student to reach their maximum potential.
